
MossBrew was established in 1994 after numerous requests for help in solving brewing and business related problems.
The proprietor, Graham Moss is a Master Brewer (Dip.IOB) and an MBA
so is qualified to give brewing and business advice.

Over 40 breweries, Engineers and food companies have been started up or advised. We have 3 standard breweries available off the shelf, ranging from 18 Gallons to 10 Barrel capacity and larger plants can be made to order.

We practice teamwork with our suppliers and customers to provide solutions. If brewing were always easy, everyone would do it. When customers need help or advice, the "team" prides itself in doing its best to solve the issue.

He can assist and troubleshoot in all areas of microbrewing, from advice on the business plan, to getting planning approval, to installation and operation. |  | | 18 Gallon Microbrewery | This is the 18 gallon ultimate Tower aimed at the sophisticated Home brewer,
with wood clad stainless steel vessels, pump and heat exchanger and a control panel. Designed to be self maintainable, it runs off 240v ac single phase or gas. |  | | 2.5 Barrel Microbrewery | The "two & a Half" barrel plant has a 400L brew length, and is the smallest "commercial" brewery we do, and is very popular. |  | | 5 Barrel Microbrewery | The "five barrel" has an 800L brew length, (2 in service). The larger plants run on 3 phase electricity or gas. |  | | 10 Barrel Microbrewery | Other sizes have been built or assisted eg 15 barrel, 75 barrel etc. Prices are entry level (about the same as a new car).
More expensive sophisticated plants can be built, usually for marketing reasons eg. restaurants, hotel lobbies etc. |  | | MB101 Cask Washing Machine | Possibly the most important, but neglected part of brewing.
We have available semi automatic machines. You load the barrel, and it will pre rinse, detergent clean and final rinse the barrel , with a special spinning cleaning head. |  | | Yeast & Acid Washing | The method for acid washing yeast, to selectively kill bacteria is given and can be taught, also gives recommended yeast suppliers. |   | | Bottle Fillers | A flowmeter controlled bottle filler has been developed. This can repeatedly dispense a quantity of beer into bottles, which can be capped and labelled, eg 500ml. Ideal for entry to business, samples, short runs. Can fill from cask, keg or tank. |   | | Dispense Equipment | If you want handpumps, keg equipment, taps, pegs, chillers, fonts, electric beer pumps, kegs, casks etc, ask us first. |   | | Process Equipment | We also deal in large scale equipment for the food, drink and chemical industries....this is big equipment. |   |
Other services and products :We have access to a wide range of fabrication facillities, including TIG welding, ring rolling, coil rolling, electronic and mechanical components. We supply both new and used equipment.
