The Museum Brewing Company uses England's oldest micro-brewery to produce a superb range of historic and specialist cask and bottle conditioned ales. Built in 1920 on the tower principle the micro-brewery incorporates vessels dating back to 1830.

The brewery has a 7 barrel length (2016 pints) and comprises of a Steele's masher, copper mash tun, steam copper, wort receiver, vertical cooler and open copper-lined wooden fermenting squares.

Head Brewer Steve Wellington uses 18th and 19th century recipes from the Bass Museum archives to recreate traditional heritage ales with distinctive palates. The brewery can also make short run commemorative brews for your event or special occasion.
