Smiles is enjoying rapid growth with brewing at Colston Yard up 30% over last year. Our beers have been awarded not one but two medals in this years British Bottlers' Institute awards. Smiles Best won a gold medal and Smiles Heritage won a Silver medal.

All Smiles beers are entirely natural, we only use water, malted barley, hops and yeast. No artificial colourings, preservatives or flavourings. Our ingredients are GM free.

Smiles Brewery Beers

 
HeritageABV 5.2%, Heritage is a traditional strong ale, with an original gravity of 1051. It has a dark ruby colour and a full bodied bitter flavour409b1.gif
BestABV 4.1%, with an original gravity of 1040 it is a classic well-rounded bitter beer. It has a rich colour and smooth malty taste.409b2.gif
GoldenABV 3.8%, with an original gravity of 1039, it is a golden coloured cask conditioned beer with a high bitterness achieved by a subtle blend of aromatic and high bitterness hops409b3.gif
BAABV 3.3% a rich amber ale, light, refreshing having a slight aromatic nose, good head formation and retention with a slightly full flavour, clean and balanced with a very slight touch of dryness.409b4.gif
Roman Cand AleABV 5.5%, a stunning blend of malts, roast barley and the best hops yield an ale of uncompromising quality and strength. Available November409b5.gif
Holly HopsABV 5.0%, a strong traditional draught beer, dark gold in colour, with a warming character to ward off those winter chills, brewed using crystal and wheat malts bittered with traditional HOps! HOps! Available December 
April FuelABV 4.8%, a rich, dark warming ale of a respected strength reflecting winters passing and the onset of spring. Available April 
Bristol PorterABV 4.7%, a dark and fulfilling stout brewed from an old recipe of finest pale ale malt and roast barley, hopped, dry hopped and fermented in traditional manner. Available January 
May FlyABV 4.5%, a traditional cask conditioned beer with a light golden colour. The delicate balance of hops and malt tantalise the palate and slake the thirst. Available May 
Old Russ AleABV 4.4%, light in colour, light in bitterness but full of rounded body; the typical English ale to be taken with bread, cheese and falling leaves. Available October
