About Goddards Brewery

Housed in a picturesque 19th Century stone barn, our brewery has a 15 barrel brewlength and is exceptionally well equipped, energy efficient and hygenic. Raw materials are purchased for quality and hang the cost! Quality has always been our aim.

Our beers have won several awards including the Bronze Champion Beer of Britain in 1997 and 1999. Our head brewer Chris turns out consistently excellent beer.
Goddards also provides wholesale drinks distribution for the Island.

We have a growing estate of managed Goddards Pubs, including The Wishing Well and Billy Bunters. We are proud to provide jobs for sixty local people as well as looking after the 'wet' needs of a sizeable chunk of the Isle of Wight's locals and tourists.

Goddards Brewery Beers

Winter Warmer	ABV 5.2%, Dark and strong. Warms the cockles of your heart. Available November to February.
Fuggle-Dee-Dum	ABV 4.8%, Intensely flavoured, malty, hoppy, strong ale. Amber brown in colour and full bodied. Also available as cold-sterile filtered (not pasturised) bottled and kegged beer.
Goddards Special Bitter	ABV 4%, Refreshingly clean, easy-drinking bitter, with a wonderful aroma of freshly-rubbed hops that carries through to a satisfying aftertaste.
Inspiration Ale	ABV 5.2% Pale with a refreshingly citrus taste. An ale full of hop smellls and flavours. Available March to April.
Duck's Folly	ABV 5.2%, An amber coloured traditionally brewed English ale, hopped with Fuggles and Goldings. Available in September
Iron Horse	ABV 4.8%, A rich ruby-red beer, well flavoured with hints of dark malt, followed with a dry softly bitter aftertaste. Available in October.
