About Badger Brewery

The brewery was established in 1777 by Charles Hall, who built trade by supplying local soldiers and taverns. His son, Robert, took George Woodhouse into partnership in 1847 and developed the Badger logo, one of the UK's oldest trade marks.

Today we are proud to be a leading independent family brewery with the craft of brewing passed through five generations of the Woodhouse family. We use only the finest ingredients, combined with pure spring water to brew ales of outstanding character.
